Are these calculators free?

Yes. There is no account, no paywall and no email required.

Where do the fee rates come from?

From each marketplace's own published seller fee documentation. Every page links to its source and prints the date those rates were last verified.

How often are the rates updated?

Rates are re-checked against the marketplace's published schedule, and each page carries that date. Marketplaces adjust fees without much notice, so always compare a calculator result against your actual payout statement.

Do you store what I enter?

No. Every calculation runs in your browser. The numbers you type are never sent to a server.

Why does the fee base differ between platforms?

Because the platforms define it differently. eBay charges its final value fee on the total the buyer pays including postage; Poshmark charges commission on the item price only; Whatnot charges commission on the item price and processing on the whole order. Using one platform's base on another is the most common source of error.

Which marketplace is cheapest for sellers?

On fees alone, Vinted is free for sellers and Depop charges only payment processing. But a sale that does not happen has no fees and no payout, so audience and sell-through matter more than the rate card.

Can I use these calculators for a marketplace that is not listed?

The general profit and pricing tools accept your own numbers, so you can model any platform where you know the percentage rate and the fixed charge.

Do you give tax, legal or financial advice?

No. These are calculation tools. For anything touching tax, customs, employment status or regulation, speak to a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

Why should I trust a calculator over my own spreadsheet?

You should not, blindly. The point of this site is that you can check it: every fee line shows the rate and the base it was applied to. If your spreadsheet and this calculator disagree, the formula is on the page for you to settle it.
